Trinacria - Symbol of Sicily

Inspired by a visit to Sicily in 2010, this class discusses the traditional herbs that are indigenous to this beautiful and unique island - many which have been used for their medicinal gifts for centuries. 

Woven into this class is local folklore, ethnobotany and spirit medicine.  The italian names for these herbs are taught, as well as their latin binomial names for clarification and ease of recognition.
