Emily DeMattio is a learned herbalist, a seasoned Level II Reiki practitioner, and an herbal educator - she joyfully shares the wisdom and unconditional gifts of her beloved green plant allies with her students and friends.
She studied and successfully attained the 2nd level of Reiki in the Usui System of Natural Healing in accordance with the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition in 2005.
Emily is currently studying with internationally distinguished Herbalist and Ethnobotanist, David Winston, in his highly respected two-year Clinical Herbalist Training Certificate Program at his Herbal Therapeutics School of Botanical Medicine in Washington, NJ.
Additionally, she has a practical, working knowledge of TCM from years use with family and close friends.
Emily is completing work on her wild foods recipe collection, a delicious tool that she uses in her herbal classes.
