Our ongoing efforts to encourage women
to take an active part in their own wellness includes creating sacred space for women to gather
and support each other. Willow Moon Herbals proudly endorses the Red Tent Movie, and is an
active supporter of our local Red Tent gatherings, which is in turn part of a larger movement created by
women for women. Enjoy a few hours a month to sit in circle and share our woman stories and wisdom. With all the
social and economic uncertainty currently in the world, it just may be through
cooperation, not competition, that positive, sustainable change will be
realized. Where women gather, miracles occur. The Tent is open to all women.

gathering near you, or click on the Movie graphic below for additional information.

Over
the years throughout many classes on Women's Health issues, I often get asked about cancer concerns. These
questions vary from inquiries about preventative, anti-cancer protocols using medicinal botanicals to direct
questions about real, ongoing cancer struggles for friends, family or the inquiree herself. I would like to remind
folks that I am not a medicinal doctor, nor do I have a medical degree. I am just like everyone else, searching for
viable, alternative holistic modalities when conventional allopathic protocols fail or further aggravate a
situation. I try very hard NOT to bring politics into my website, and, sometimes, the misinformation in the
mainstream media makes me want to scream.
Cancer
is a very delicate subject that often brings raw emotions to the surface at a time when levelheaded-ness and clear
thinking is needed the most. For those who know me, they know that ~ while I applaud their noble 'ideals' ~ I am
not a proponent of the 'pink-ribbon' philsophy. (more thoughts on that here and here, and also here) Deciding on a proper course of treatment is a very personal
choice specific to each individual case, and not something to be made lightly, especially where
cancer is concerned. Know that I do support my clients who
choose to go that route when they ask for assistance with medicinal botanical protocols ~ earnestly,
wholeheartedly and with my sincerest committment.
And that remains my goal: to help women take an
active roll in their own health and wellness
through Education.
I continue to make my Self available to my clients for their real-life health concerns,

and am an enthusiastic supporter of
the "Education, not Medication" effort. As always, clients can contact me through the various means on this
website. For more information about "Education, not Medication" click the logo to the
right.
Ok, I am getting off my
soap-box now......
And, as always, my
continuing gratitude to all those interested in medicinal botanicals.
'And the day came when the risk to remain tight in
a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom' ~Anaïs
