Herb Walks

Herb Walks (weed walks) are relaxing, insightful and.... fun! Learn which of our herbal green plant allies have chosen to live in your yard, your neighborhood or your local community park.

Many of the plants that are commonly known ~ and masquerade ~ as ‘weeds’ are really giving plant beings just waiting to be recognized and acknowledged. An herb walk will open your mind and soothe your soul by encouraging familiarity with common botanicals on a deeper level. When we see plants as teachers, we understand the abundant gifts they offer us as they share their many practical and/or medicinal gifts, including being used as food ~ all of which we discuss as we walk. And let us not forget our noble tree friends who contribute to the unconscious feeling of being safe by lending stability and strength to our communities!

Herb walks can be tailored by season, grade level, or location, and are age-appropriate from Kindergarten through Adult.

Contact us today and let us help you get reacquainted with the herbal plants already in your yard.

Mowing your lawn might never be the same again!

"I can't thank you enough
for your herbal recommendations for sore throat and flu. I felt so much better the very next day! Also, the curcumin has completely eliminated my chronic knee pain."

"I've been using Donna’s Master Tonic for almost a year now and I’ve come to rely on it. My nose is often stuffy and I’ve always been susceptible to head colds. Whenever I feel a cold coming on, I take a spoonful of the tonic up to 3 times a day and the symptoms disappear. The tonic works much better than OTC products, which don’t seem to prevent the symptoms once they appear; it tastes better and there are no side effects. I’ve also had more success with the Master Tonic than herbal supplements and essential oils. The tonic can be used every day or on an as-needed basis. Highly recommend!

Dear Donna-
“I love the taste and power of this Master Tonic! A short while ago, I felt a raging cold coming on. I took 1 oz of the Master Tonic two to three times daily. The result was like having a storm change direction and head out to sea. Thanks, Donna!”

Dear Emily,
Thank you for opening me to the world of herbs. With the use of Amla, Ashwagandha and Chaste Tree I have been feeling much better. It has not only helped me physically but also emotionally. I feel more energetic and upbeat. I honestly believe that your knowledge of herbs is wide and deep. I look forward to continue these herbs and see you again for consultation in near future. Best of luck!

Dear Donna-
Thank you so much for recommending Tea Tree Oil for the chronic rash on my son's abdomen. After going to the pediatrician and multiple dermatologists and spending hundreds of dollars on creams, powders and potions ~ we had just about resigned ourselves that he would just have to live with it. We felt we had nothing to lose when you suggested the Tea Tree Oil. What a miracle it has been, it was cleared up after 3 applications!! Thanks again - no more scratching!!!!
PS- My husband is also hooked - he puts Tea Tree Oil on his tooth brush every day!!

I wanted to thank you for recommending the chickweed compresses for the black fly bites that covered my arms and neck. It relieved the welts, itching and redness within minutes and spared me hours of discomfort.

Dear Donna-

After recently twisting my knee, you had suggested using Arnica montana homeopathic pellets and the curcumin (tumeric). I was greatly impressed with the rapid improvement of my mobility. That was a Saturday morning: by Monday I was able to go on a family outing that included much walking up and down hills and stairways. I was able to keep up with everyone and not miss out on any of the activities. THANK YOU!!!

When I tripped, I banged my forearm against the edge of the door as I was heading to class, cutting my arm and bruising my radius. That afternoon, we learned about making liniments in class, and I used it on my arm. By the next night, you could hardly notice any bruising and my arm was not paining me. Thank you very much!
